Assistance at the airport/railway station on arrival and drive to Darjeeling. Standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, ‘Dorje Ling’, or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by World Famous Tea Gardens and snow capped mountains, Darjeeling remains one of the most exotic destinations. About This Tour

- Arrival & Acclimatization Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and take a scenic drive up the winding mountain roads to Darjeeling. Check into your hotel and spend the evening strolling down the Mall Road (Chowrasta).
- The Classic Darjeeling Experience Start before dawn with a trip to Tiger Hill to witness the sun illuminating the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit the serene Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (home to red pandas), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and the vibrant Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center.
- Darjeeling to Kalimpong After breakfast, enjoy a beautiful drive to Kalimpong, a quieter hill station known for its orchids and nurseries. Spend the afternoon visiting Deolo Hill for panoramic views, the Pine View Cactus Nursery, and the historic Zang Dhok Palri Phodang monastery.
